Jim joined Baird’s Winnetka office in 2011 and has over twenty one years of experience in the financial services industry. He previously worked at William Blair & Company, and before that a private investment firm.
Jim graduated from Indiana University (IU), where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the Kelley School of Business. He was a double major in Finance and Operations Management. Jim was awarded the CFA charter in September, 2013. Jim also became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in June, 2014. Jim is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. He holds the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses, as well as insurance, annuity, and long term care licenses.
Jim grew up in Hinsdale and currently resides in Winnetka with his wife and their two sons. In his free time, he likes to golf, play piano and learn about wine through classes and tastings. He also loves to reminisce about the days when he had more hair on his head. Jim is an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox, but he is currently reevaluating his relationship with the ballclub.
